“The Blessing”
Many of us can tell the story of a praying mother, grandmother or great-grandmother. This is a tribute to the precious saints who have faithfully prayed for their families and the generations yet to come. Notice the perfect shape of a cross in the water glass. In all of the reference photos taken, it only appeared in the one used for this painting.
